DECORATIVE AFRICAN MASK

Decorative African tribal mask with intricately embossed metal overlay.

The metal is attached to the wood using very small tack nails. Geometric patterns line the wooden sides.

This mask features a wide open mouth, accented in red, flat features with a prominent nose. Eyes are rectangular slits. Vertical grooves in the wood line the eye area leading to linear grooves in the metal around the nose and eye brows.

Condition

Good, small, stable split to the inner top side of the mask does not carry through to the outside.
